There were many leaders in this world born who fought for the
Democratic and Civilian rights and they got success in their work most of them
are not alive today some choose the Gun Like Mao Ziadong and Lenin Did but some
choose the non violent way to do that and there names and countries were they
worked are as follows
1. Mahatma Gandhi- India and South Africa
2 Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar- India
3 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. - United States of America
4 Mr. Nelson Mandela - South Africa
here i will talk about Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr.. & Mr. Nelson Mandela who fought there wars non violently and got
success
Mahatma Gandhi- He was an Indian Revolutionary who was born on 2
October in Porbander Gujarat and was Barrister at Law and firstly he started
his revolution in South Africa where he started Movement for democratic rights
of Blacks and Indians he got arrested because he was against a bill made by
Britishers which was against the Religious rights of Indians but he got a
success after that he came back to his motherland India and with the guidance
of Gopal Krishna Gokhale he stopped his law practice and opened his newspapers
like Indian Opinion, Harijan etc.. he also supports Indian National Congress
and he led many revolutionary movements like
1 Non Cooperation Movement
2 Dandi March
3. Civil Disobedience Movement
He also fought for the rights of low and backward communities in
India but he never supported to give them a minority status which many dalit
leaders like Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar wanted for Dalits but he was ready to
give them the Reservation Rights he was the one who supported Jews and talked
about the atrocities of Adolf Hitler on Jews but he was against of giving
Israel to Jews on religious basis but he got killed by Nathuram Godse on 31-
January- 1948 who was Angry with Partition of India.
Nelson Mandela- He
was was a South
African Anti Apartheid Revolutionary, Politician, and Philanthroprist , who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to
1999. He
fought for the democratic rights of Black who were majority in the RSA with 67%
population and was suppressed by the Ruling Minority class who were blacks who
were only 21% of the total Population and white suppressed blacks for many
decades by a rule which was apartheid which did not allows
1. White
and blacks to marry each other
2. Blacks
to buy property where Whites lives even if they have resources to do that so
3. Blacks
to enter in a place which is reserve for the whites
He studied law at the University of Fort Hare and
the University of the Witwaterstrind before
working as a lawyer in Johanasberg. There he became involved in Anti
colonial and African nationalist politics, joining the ANC in 1943 and
co-founding its Youth League in 1944
