Social activist and a great Gandhian leader Sh. Kishen Baburao Hazare Known as Anna (one of my idols) is back in Ramlila Maidan where he sat on a hunger strike in 2011 for a jan lokpal and today he sat there on another indefinite hunger strike with a host of demands as around 10,000 people are likely to gather at the venue, the police are gearing up for chaos in central Delhi.
I still remember 7 years ago in the month of April came to know about this man but after some months i became his fan when he started his hunger strike for the demand of lokpal bill which was a weapon to fight against the corruption before that he also did the movements in the favour of RTI in which they got success and now things has changed at that time Congress was in power and they were denying this law and after the hunger strike in month of august they agreed for the bill and they drafted one which later called as Jokepal because in that bill prime minister and president was excluded which was not right because in the eyes of law no one is special everyone is same and now BJP is in the power who also didn't played an important role for the lokayukt selection till 4 years now but this is also a fact that since new government of BJP led NDA has taken charged there were less cases of corruption is been reported and you can see this in the corruption Index report made by the transparency International in which India was at 96th position in 2014 which reduced to 78 in year 2017 and 2018 report is yet to come.
Anna and Rajghat
You know what i found common in anna hunger strike that before hunger strike he went to rajghat for taking of late sh mk gandhi. I remember last time it was 15 august 2011 when he went there before the hunger strike (Anna is also considered as the 2nd Gandhi by many Citizens of India Including me) and next day his news was on the front page of the newspaper instead of PM address on Independence Day on Red Fort first time in the history this has happened but "at that time he was arrested by the police on the government order this time he is roaming free"
Journalism and Anna
Last time we saw that there were large number of media personals who were there to cover the anna movement and in fact Mr Ashutosh who then was Managing Editor of IBN7 wrote a entire book on that event which name was "ANNA:13 Days that awakened India"but this time i am noticing that only some section of media is covering it seriously rest are doing casual reporting and i am 100% sure that this time the large section of Hindi and Enghlish media both in Print and in the Television will take this news forgranted but only the anti establishment media will take it seriously.
Some Old Freinds are not here
Last time when leaders like Arvind kejriwal CM of Delhi Along with Shmt.. Kiran Bedi Lt. Governor of Pondicherry, Adv.. Prashant Bhushan was there to support him with there other colleagues like Dr Kumar Vishwas, Yogender Yadav no one has seen to support him as we know that Shmt.. Kiran Bedi is in BJP now so she will not not come but what about the others why they haven't come this is a question i request them to join this movement
In 2015 when he came to Delhi to protest in favour of farmers all leaders of AAP came to him to offer support which he accepted and together they did a great work now i know that anna and arvind has different paths but they have same goal which everyone knows that it is corruption free India Delhi government is also known as the most honest government and i don't know why they are not coming up
States where Lokayukt is not there
Today The bench of Justice Ranjan Gogoi and R Bhanumathi in Supreme Court rebuked the Chief Secretaries of 12 states and asked why the Lokayukta has not been appointed in these states so far. They questioned the position of the Lokayukta in the state from Orissa Chief Secretary and said that there is no Lokpal for dealing with corruption in the state. these 12 states are Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, West Bengal and Delhi which is also very shocking for us.
I am in the favour of lokpal bill i know that each and every party in the parliament excluding 1 or 2 doesn't want to pass lokpal because many of there politicians are alleged in scams and that is why they are showing lazyness like they did 7 years ago but it's a time to remind them that you are power and parliament for work do that don't waste tax payers hard earned money
