Supreme Court against Mob Lynching

Yesterday the supreme court of India criticised 3 governments of India in which the Government of Haryana and UP is also Involved for the mob lynching cases in their states and asked for  a new law to enforce by the parliament of the nation. A Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra, termed incidents of mob lynching in India as 'horrendous acts of mobocracy' and observed that individual citizens cannot take law into their hands

The Supreme Court has said 6 things In this Judgement

1.     SC Orders state to appoint SP Level officer as Nodal Officer to prevent these crimes
2.     If Police and District administration fails to fulfill that it it will be called as deliberate negligence
3.     Center and state has to prop adage through TV, Newspapers and Radio and every other means of communication to communicate serious consequences of this crime
4.     Provide compensation to the family of those who were attacked by mob within 30 days of Incident
5.     FIR Against those who spread fake messages
6.     There should be set up of Fast Track Courts to deal with these Issues and solve them within 6 months
7.     The Supreme Court directed the police to register an FIR under Section 153A of IPC and other such provisions of law against those who indulge in these kind of activities

The Supreme Court bench has also said

“Cases of mob lynching have not just increased they are evolving and now the character of the crime is diversified. From going after Muslims who eat cow-meat, mobs are attacking those who are alleged 'child abductors.' First of all, we don't have something which defines hate crimes in a detailed manner. The only section which we can bring into the picture here is Section 153 A. The Parliament can consider making the necessary amendments within the Penal Code instead of drafting a separate law for it.”

This year a report came up that 27 people has killed by mob so far because that mob of devils thought that these 27 people are child traffickers and also we have cases like Pehlu Khan, Akhlaq, Una Dalit Violence and many others who were killed by the mob on the beef issue
Last year A police officer whose name was Ayub Pundit was lynched to death in Srinagar by the mobs

Recently Jayant Sinha and Giriraj Singh who are central ministers in the current government also honored the people who were having cases of mob lynching on them   which also put blot on Today’s central government

From the last some years the NCRB and many other data sources has proven that lynching cases has Increased and there fore this new decision by the Supreme Court will start a new revolution against Lynching’s and I hope that Parliament will do something to stop this and Parliament Monsoon session has just started and now all eyes on the Parliament let’s hope for the best.
