For
last 2 years we have seen n number of riots and stone pelting incidents in
Kashmir and there are many incidents in which flags of ISIS, Pakistan and China
is being shown a hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq gave a statement on that
in a English magazine stating that those who were raising the flags of ISIS and
China are just wanted to Indian feels jealous or making Indians angry although
everyone knows that who orders them to do that so there was a time when on
every Friday we see the Pakistani flags in Downtown mosque of Srinagar last
year there was a marathon but in that Pakistani flag were shown and just
because of that there is a section of Indians who have a very wrong perception
about the Kashmir and the Kashmir’s I want to confess that I never went to
Kashmir in throughout my life nor my mom, dad or anyone I have been to Jammu
twice that’s it but I do Have Kashmiri friends when I was studying my MBA in
Delhi and I must say that those people are pure Sufis Muslims by nature not
wahhabi what our neighbor country and some anti India elements in Kashmir wants
to make them. Last year after Burhan Wani’s death when a crowd protested
against India the leaders over there were saying that people of J&K are
here to protest but what was the reality we should know about it according to
an Hindi daily I will not take the name went to Anantnag in Kashmir to
Investigate a they met a Nurse over their who was living there she said that
the protesting groups forced people to join protest she further said that the
groups have given a order that from each one person should come they made
mandatory and she shared his own story he stated “ I was alone in the house my husband and son was in Srinagar protestors
came into my house and said that it is compulsory for me to join protest but I
don’t wanted to do that so I made an excuse of having pain in my legs and they
went back” so these type of comments
shows that how much fake news is been presented by the some section in Indian and
Kashmiri media.
Some days ago I watched a video of
Ravish Kumar in which he said that “ if
you speak to any Kashmiri no matter how much angry he is from India for one
hour he will show his anger the he will talk normally with you and if he
complains then he/she will do in polite manner” in his show Primetime he
also shared a story of Kashmiri boy without taking his name in which he said
that when he is college campus in Delhi I feels proud on Indian constitution
and when he goes outside then n number of questions rises in his mind about his
identity I think that Ravish can bitterly tell us about that boy. I have also
seen n number of people in Kashmir cursing my country on the social media sites
and I have criticized those but still I believed that this is not voice of the
Kashmir because in J&K state Jammu, Ladakh also comes where people are not
against India and in Kashmir we have seen the areas near Srinagar we have seen
anti national activities last year a Hindi news channel did a Nationalistic
Reporting in which they showed those people who are in favor of India including
border area people, students studying in Army Goodwill Schools and we should not forget that many Kashmiris are
in to many sectors and Industries in India and we have seen Kashmiris joining
the Indian army to serve the nation some days back in police recruitment drive
thousands of Kashmiri turned up which was again was a great achievement because
majority of population of Kashmir wants a good life and better education and
employment which is our responsibility to give them
My conclusion is that this essay of
mine is only for those small number of people of my country and outside India
that perception of Kashmir which they have made in their mind about Kashmir due
to tone palters and terrorist is fake I
know only that Kashmir where Hindus gave the title of Rishi- Muni to the Muslims.
